I love envisioning my life and my dreams and lifting them up to God for God to bless them and take the greater part of what he believes is good for me. This year has been a year of many blessings for me. I believe in my heart that the three items that keep me connected to God are the following three items and I wanted to share with you to encourage you to think of what those items are for you. I am not big on resolutions, but I am big on visions and the only way my vision can come to pass is by having tools to guide me. Here are my three items I have used over the years and will definitely be taking into 2018 with me!
1. My Bible: When I am down or looking for a scripture to pick me up, I can always find something in the bible. As a woman of faith and as a Christian my Bible is my go to for prayers, when I am seeking answers from God or when I just need a bit of encouragement. I usually go to my favorite scriptures, or read about new people within the book and follow their stories. 2. My planner: I sometimes think I am a good planner but I have learnt that the only way I am able to plan is with having planning tools. My planner helps me put down important meetings and jot down short notes to remember for the meetings. I also use my electronic device A.k.A. my cell phone as well as a compliment to my physical planner, I am training myself to document things in writing more because after having several phone crashes a physical planner is more reliable. I purchased one at TJ Maxx for less than 4 dollars. 3. My Journal: Now if I must say I have more than one journal! As a writer and a dreamer and a woman of faith I sometimes feel I cannot get enough journals! LOL. One journal I keep mostly for church, sermons, scriptures and when God speaks to me. Another journal I keep for my writing and my final journa I keep for ideas, visions and dreams I want to see come to pass. Over the years I am starting to realize that I cannot function without these three items. What are your three go to tools and how do you stay focused, motivated and encouraged throughout the year? I wish you a prosperous 2018! Stay Blessed, Moiyattu.
